All Guessermania games are free and enable millions of people to vie for the Guessermania Dollars (G$). Guessermania allows people to compete against one another through real event outcome predictions (such as sport events etc), so that you may win more or less, depending on how well you perform. Even if you do not win anything - you cannot lose anything either. All Guessermania Money (G$) collected remain in your account until you spend it buying the Guessermania Shares.

What do I need?

All you need to become a Guessermania member is to go to the "guessing pages" (on left side menu) and select one of the available options on every guess prediction (a multiple choice selection).

You will be asked to provide your email address, which will later serve as your login ID, your account will be automatically created and a temporary password emailed to you.
As soon as you receive your temporary password, please log in and complete the account setup as soon as possible. No members will qualify to receive G$ without having completed the account setup.

Members with their photo uploaded will also be able to send Private Messages to other Guessermania members, and most importantly, qualify winning our Jackpot. Yes, we are trying to build a community of people playing Guessermania games and we encourage interaction between our members, participation in the ratings, discussions and all other Guessermania day to day activities.

How to become a Successful Guessermanian

Here are some tips on how to win more on Guessermania:

1) Attempt to make a prediction on all Guesses. The number of correct predictions is all that counts. Even if you are not, for instance, a Hockey fan - go to the Sports section and pick your winners anyway. If you win - you win, if you don't - it costs you nothing.

2) Watch Expired Guesses (submitted by others) and participate by submitting the correct event result once the event has occurred. If the Guess author submitted an invalid Guess or did not submit the event results within 4 days from the Guess Event End Date, his winning portion will go to Jackpot.

3) Upload your picture on your account's main page. Only users with photos will qualify to win Jackpot.

4) Become the best player in one of our "Best Of" categories. Best players make some extra G$.

5) Become a publisher. Start submitting your own Guesses to Guessermania and you will get an extra 20% of the G$ pool for that Guess.

6) Invite your friends to Guessermania. Potentially double what you win by inviting others to play Guessermania. Each time you win, you earn up to 5% of your first and second level referrals' winning amounts.

7) And lastly - always follow the Guessermania rules.

The Guessing

The Guessing game is described above and is an easy way to start playing on Guessermania. It requires from you nothing except having a Guessermania account and a few minutes a day to play.

The Bidding

The Bidding game is an optional extension of the Guessing game. You can use your previously earned G$ making bids playing the Guessing game. You will be competing against other Guessermania members who are also placed bids on the same events as you did. If no one else except you placed bids on some particular Guess, you will receive your bid back. We do not take any portion of that as the real gambling sites do. The statistics above show how big the Internet really is. But how big does Guessermania have to be to be worth One Million Dollars?

As you know Guessermania is all about guessing what will happen in real life, the real life events with an uncertain outcome, such as sports and politics.

How many of them that qualify to be placed as Guessermania Guesses happen every day?

That is hard to say, but lets try. For example, NHL has 1230 season games plus Playoff minimum 60 maximum 105 games. More or less the same number is in NBA and NFL. How many sports championships like that are running every year or once per four years like Olympics or Soccer Euro and World championships? A LOT! Only European Soccer National championships would add several thousand games a year!

To make a long story short, I would imagine that the number of the sports games a day is somewhere between 10 and 30. Lets be pessimistic on this one and say it is only 10 games a day.

How many banners are shown to each Guessermania user on each Event? Every Guess can show at least 6 (four 160x600 Wide Skyscrapers, and two 728 x 90 Leaderboard ads (we currently are not using the left side banner but there is room for it); three before and three after Guessing/Bidding), and maximum up to probably 60 if the user was using our Bidding and/or Rating tools. So, lets say on average 10 ads per Guess per User.

That make the average number of impressions per user per day equal to 10x10 = 100.

How much advertising companies charge their clients for their ads? The CPC (cost per click) can be anywhere from as low as 1cent to 1dollar and even higher. The CPM (cost per one thousand ads impressions) can be from 1$ to 10$ and even more.

As you know, Guessermania is offering the following features to the advertisers:

• Advertisements of varying sizes and layouts (text and standard) on our Guessermania pages, which every user is expected to visit, so no ads are skipped.
• Precise ad delivery with available break down by the user's gender, age and location

We are able to reach narrow or wide audiences with most of the ad formats. The advertisement delivery accuracy is a unique feature distinguishing Guessermania from many others, assuring you that your ads will be precisely delivered to the given consumer audience.

Targeted advertisement is more effective and valuable than not targeted, so lets say our CPM will cost 10$ to your advertisers.

Roughly, One user per day will be able to make you 10$ / (1000cpm/100impressions) = 1$.

Where only one thousand active Guessermania users will be making you already 1000$ a day, or 365,000$ a year accordingly.

In other words, one thousand Guessermania users will be able to return your One Million Dollars investment in less then 3 years, or ten thousand users in less than just four month.

As you can see, Guessermania with only one thousand active players will worth paying the price!

Yes, there are some hosting and maintenance expenses which are not considered in this simplified calculation, however there are some factors that are not considered as well, such as:

• Search Engine Factor. Imagine the Guessermania content volume it will build over the years. The content will bring many people from the search engines, which will browse the site and see the ads as well.
• Guessermania user base growth. Guessermania business model encourage its users to invite their friends. So, even starting with 1000 active users, the user base will most likely double or triple every year, making the investment return much faster.

You may ask us "Why don't you keep Guessermania for yourself, run some ads on it and make money?". The problem is that we don't have the luxury of dealing the advertisers directly as the online advertising companies do. So, to run the ads we have to deal with companies like Google, Yahoo, AdBrite etc, who pay the site owners much less that they charge the advertised companies.

We also are not allowed to pay any compensations to our users for seeing the ads, since most of the online advertising companies policies strongly disallow this and we are going to always follow the rules.
