The Guessermania Olympics end on the same day as the Beijing games end - August 24, 2008. All Prizes will be given away by August 31, 2008.
How to Play
Simply make your guesses about the Olympics events predicting the winners, and try to get more points than the other players.
The points are given to the first 100 people (please see the Categories Leaderboard pages) in every Olympics category such as:
Note: There are more categories coming as we get closer to the Olympics.
The Rules:
- The First place winner in the category receives 100 points, 2nd - 99 points, 3rd place - 98 points, 4th - 96 points etc down to the place #100 receiving 1 point. The first three places in each category also receive 30, 20 and 10 bonus points accordingly.
- The top three players with the highest number of points in all Olympics categories combined win the contest.
- The top three Referrals, these who invited the most people to Guessermania (please see the Invite your friends to Guessermania page) receive 300, 200 and 100 bonus points accordingly.
- All players must be 14 years or older and must provide also their mailing address in order to participate in the contest.
- All cash prizes will be mailed to the winners of the Guessermania Olympics on August 31, 2008. Please make sure that your name and mailing address are entered and correct in your Personal Info account page.
- All Guessermania Dollars earned by you remain yours.
- No money required from you to participate.
